Hi,
I'm setting up a new computer and I wanted to have Nuke license server configured using environment variable. Nuke is launching just fine from Afanasy software menu, and it finds a license.
But, when I submit a job to render through CGRU then nuke_r (headless mode) can't find a license on the same machine. If I run nuke_r from a command line it finds the license without problem.
It seems like the environment variable is ignored by the rendering processes.
The only way to make it work, is to manually add the license server in Nuke, which will cause a license file being created in /home/user/FoundryLicensing/ folder. But I want to avoid any manual confirguration.
What can be the problem here?
Thanks,
Lukas
CGRU + Nuke - license problem
Re: CGRU + Nuke - license problem
Hello!
Sorry for a delay.
Unfortunately, I had no deal with Nuke (and any other soft) license.
Any license workflow that exists in Ananasy was created by other developers (admins, TDs) by themselves, or somebody asked me to make direct changes in code.
