Hi there,
we would like to suggest a graphic way to interactively select/deselect the hosts participating the job as shown in the attached gif. This could overcome the need to type the name of the hosts everytime and avoid errors. It could be very handy as we often need to include and exclude hosts on the fly as we usually add/remove also our workstations when needed.
In addition, this feature could make the 'host exclude mask' parameter unnecessary as you can see at glance all the render nodes available.
What do you think about it?
Best regards,
Michele

Re: host mask feature suggestion
Hi Michele,
Sorry for a delay, I was on vocation.
It can be a handy feature.
But It can't replace exiting things.
Farm can be huge, so list will be not suitable.
Also with a smart hosts naming, more handy to write "lt.*" than to select all lt01, lt02 and so on.

Re: host mask feature suggestion
Hi Timur,
thank you for your reply.
As we do not have so many render nodes, features like those proposed could have been useful. However we understand that managing many render hosts it's pretty challenging.
Any new host managing features from you will be appreciated.
Best regards,
Michele
